I had the fortunate pleasure of being invited to photograph my friend’s wedding this month.

As is such with Weddings, you cannot control what time you get to take the photos, so beware of sun.  Inevitably there is someone squinting when you’re setting up the shots in a good location, or there are dreadful shadows cast…a challenge to say the least.

Textures played a big part of this shoot, making use of the heritage park which is rich with trees, and great buildings/props to make the most of the shoot.

We had some fun and it always helps when the couple is so energetic and not camera shy.

Digital affords us the luxury of working through setting up shots, and being able to shoot freely as things unfold before your eyes.
